INFO ...

THE LOST BOYS is a B&W comic book independently published by B*Friend Press. It is a general audience book, but was made for younger audiences to provide rousing characters and stories that aren't dipped in the lurid gore, angst, violence and sexuality of today's bulk comic market while avoiding the mushy, moral stories soullessly manufactured for kids these days by large marketing divisions of major corporations.

THE LOST BOYS is distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors. It is available from any comic book store through direct order. If it isn't on the shelves, ask the person behind the counter to order it for you. Listings for it are published in PREVIEWS magazine.

Thank you for supporting independent comics.

Steve Ressel is the creator and artist behind THE LOST BOYS and B*Friend Press. Schooled at the Joe Kubert School of Comicbook and Illustration Art in Dover, Nj (that's the actual name), he never quite entered comics and was swept into animation. Over 15 years he has directed and produced various cartoons for American prime-time and children's television; Duckman, Trubble Bub, Jumanji, Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats, Ah! Real Monsters, Rocket Power, Stressed Eric, God, The Devil and Bob, and Invader Zim. Since 2005 he has turned his attention back to his initial desire to do his own self published comic book. The Lost Boys is that comic.

10 issues of The Lost Boys have been written, penciled, lettered, and as of April 2009, 87% inked. It will print as a 330+ page trade paperback in 2010. At this time 20 issues are planned, but it could easily go beyond.
